Who we are

SoftActivate builds software licensing and copy-protection technology. We started in 2011 with an on-premises toolkit for Windows developers, and we've been in the licensing business ever since - through the rise of SaaS, the move to the cloud, and everything license enforcement has had to learn along the way.

That experience now lives in two products: the original Licensing SDK (Legacy), still fully supported for the companies that depend on it, and SoftActivate Licensing, the same expertise delivered as a service, with no infrastructure to manage. Alongside them, the SoftActivate Web Services Framework applies what we've learned running a serverless licensing backend to serverless AWS projects generally.
